BANSALAN – the municipality, for a couple of years now, have been problematic with the water service and the Bansalan Water District is exerting all efforts to provide potable water supply to all its residents.
It was remembered that the previous years, there have been a number of repairs and repiping of water lines in different barangays. These repairs contributed to the poor water service on lines directly affected.
Because of this, the residents have been sending out their concerns directly to the management of the BWD and also to the LGU officials.
Currently, the BWD is appealing to the Local Water Utility Association (LWUA) for assistance in repairs and constructions of water lines and reservoirs to help improve the water service in the municipality.
“LWUA have already considered our request and all necessary documents have been submitted onto the main office. We are hoping for the response by December of this year”, said one of the Board of Directors.
Once the budget is given a go, the operation will commence immediately.
